Okay, so my brain is still trying to process that Iβm literally chilling in 1932 Vienna. Like, one minute I’m doom-scrolling TikTok, the next I’m surrounded by *actual* Art Deco architecture. This coffeehouse is seriously next-level. Forget Instagram filters; this place is already sepia-toned IRL!
Stepping into this coffeehouse was like walking straight onto a movie set β all plush velvet, marble tabletops, and the faint scent of roasted coffee beans. People are actually *debating* things, not just yelling in comment sections. You can feel the weight of history hanging in the air. I was eavesdropping (obvi) on some intense political chatter β which is kinda wild considering I know whatβs just around the corner for Europe. It’s beautiful and alsoβ¦a little terrifying, TBH.
Just sat down at a table and noticed someone left behind a tiny, worn-down pencil. Picked it up for a sec β it probably sketched some seriously cool stuff. Placed it back, hoping the artist comes back for their lucky charm. Maybe this city is trying to make an artist out of me?
Documenting all this beauty and madness feels important, even if itβs just for my future self to look back on. Trying to soak it all in, one coffee at a time. It’s like living in a museum, except you can actually touch stuff (sometimes). Vienna, you’re definitely doing something right!
